I've been gathering the items I wanted to include in my bundles. I started with one tray of items which grew to four trays. My bundles include old lace, my nephew's homework from high school, my grandmother's handkerchief, hairnet, and pearl embellished hair-comb along with a note from an aunt, crayons, clay faces, copper mesh and pieces, and the list goes on. Each bundle is wrapped in newspaper. Two of the bundles have old dolls attached to them and bamboo poles. The dolls are already eroding. One is missing an arm and the other doll has an arm that wants to fall of. I attached keys to each doll and kept the original clothes on them. It will be interesting to see if the dolls hold up by next Spring.
Originally I was going to hang the bundles from the fence around the pool however I decided to hang them from a tree that I can reach and has berries (I think they're berries). The two doll bundles are on wire clothes hangers and the other two bundles are tied onto the branches. I hope those round things are berries. It will be cool to see them stain the bundles and dolls.
Here's the link to the Erosion Bundle Project blog.
I've already learned one lesson from this project. No matter how many items I added to the bundles, there's not even a tiny dent in the amount of 'stuff' that I have. I wonder if my fellow bundler's experienced the same revelation!!!
OMG these are so great Vicki!!!
How fun it is going to be to see what happens to these beauties.

Great looking bundles and it will be really cool to watch them hanging from the tree and changing.

I could make hundreds of these bundles and not make a dent in my stash. This is going to be a fun project.
